Progress Your Training with Alpha Driving School’s PDI Trainee Licence – Free Training and Expert Support

Once you have successfully completed your Part 2 examination and undertaken the required 40 hours of Part 3 instructional training, you will be eligible to progress onto a PDI (Potential Driving Instructor) Trainee Licence with Alpha.

The Trainee Licence allows you to start delivering real lessons to learner drivers while continuing your professional development under the guidance of Alpha’s expert trainers. It provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on, practical teaching experience — helping you to refine your instructional skills in preparation for your final Part 3 assessment.

Throughout your time on the Trainee Licence, Alpha Driving School offers free, ongoing training and mentorship, ensuring you receive all the support and professional development you need to succeed. Our structured training focuses closely on the 17 key competencies assessed during the Part 3 examination, across lesson planning, risk management, and teaching and learning strategies.
